Awas! Sesapa penggeli jgn tgk apa aku nak pamerkan ni.
Ni hasil aku tgk kat tv canel TLC ari tu.. Da bosan2 tatau nak tgk tv apa dlm kul 11 tu tekan je la memana canel. So, tgk TLC ni. Bes la kan sbb dia canel jalan2 negara Asia ni.
So, aku tgk rancangan gi Filipina. Dia tunjuk satu jenis makanan tu. Aku mcm 'errkk...'.
Then esuknya ada rancangan lain, tp kat Filipina. Tunjuk makanan tu jugak. Sekali lagi 'erkk..'. Rupanya mmg makanan tradisi meke lah tu.
Meh kita google apa kata Incik Wiki tentang makanan tersebut.
A balut is a fertilized duck (or chicken) egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell.
Popularly believed to be an aphrodisiac and considered a high-protein, hearty snack, balut are mostly sold by street vendors in the regions where they are available. It is commonly sold as streetfood in the Philippines.
Baca separuh dari apa jenis makanan ni pun da rasa semacam kan. Ko mampu makan telur yg da ada anak ayam or itik dlm dia. Humang ai... telur separuh masak pun aku tak mampu, ini kan pulak yg ini.
Aku tgk dlm citer tu, cara dia nak tau da ada anak itik (or ayam) atau masih telur biasa, dia pi suluh kat satu alat ni. Alat tu ada lubang yg ada direct cahaya matahari. Lubang tu besar telur tu je la. So, kalo napak jernih lagi maksudnya masih telur biasa. Tp kalo da padat, tak napak cahaya tu maknanya boleh la buat 'balut' ni.
Cena nak prepare dia. Meh aku paste sket dari incik wiki. Nak lelebih boleh baca terus kat sini - balut.
In the Philippines, balut eaters prefer salt and/or a chili and vinegar mixture to season their egg. The eggs are savored for their balance of textures and flavors; the broth surrounding the embryo is sipped from the egg before the shell is peeled, and the yolk and young chick inside can be eaten. All of the contents of the egg may be consumed, although the white may remain uneaten: Depending on the age of the fertilized egg, the white may have an unappetizing cartilaginous toughness. In the Philippines, balut have recently entered haute cuisineadobo style, fried in omelettes or even used as filling in baked pastries. In Vietnam, balut are eaten with a pinch of salt, lemon juice, plus ground pepper and Vietnamese Coriander leaves (Southern Vietnamese style).
